DW745 blade is oscillating/vibrating at times

This table saw has probably been the best $250 I have ever spent on woodworking.  It has its drawbacks for sure but it has done the job until just now.

I am ripping some 1/2" BB for drawer boxes.  Any time during the cut it just makes a vibrating noise and you can easily see that the width of the cut kerf changes to about 3mm instead of the normal 2.2.  Its not consistent and as the cut off side of the board gets smaller, the problem minimizes.

I cleaned the blade but no help.  I then put on a new one (Freud D1024X Diablo 10" 24-Tooth ATB Ripping Saw Blade 5/8" Arbor) which is same as the old one.  It appeared to be better but not fixed.

Anybody have an idea on what might be going on?  Was really hoping I just had a bad blade.

Bearings  failing mebbe.
Try  holding  the blade  and  see  if  you can find  any movement.

Preferably with the saw unplugged. :-)

Are you sure that it's not just the blade itself flexing? I find it to be much more of an issue with ATB type blades because of the inherent back and forth of the tooth contact. Everything is going fine for a while, the you come to a harder spot or you feed just a touch faster, and some vibration sets in.
I find that TC triple chip blades never do this, thus my guess about the problem. TC blades are not for most cuts though and probably why blade stabilizers were invented to overcome it.
The push toward thinner kerf blades seems to have been the main reason, less thickness = less stiffness.
This is also the reason that I don't like 12" miter saws. They seem to make this worse.
Not saying that you don't have some bearing wear that is "allowing" this to show up now, but IMO the blade is the underlying source.

Thanks folks.  The first thing I had thought about was a dampener/stiffener blade.  This saw has been terrific for 4 years and these problems just surfaced, so I think the bearings may be more of an issue but I have no idea how to get/replace those so I will poke around looking into that.  I did order a full 1/8" blade and a Forrest stiffener just in case.

I believe this is a great 'first saw' saw, but I really want a nice SawStop.  I don't feel there is any middle ground so I am hoping to keep this puppy running a little longer.  I don't have an issue with SS price, I just don't have the room to properly get it installed until I move.

If anyone has experience dealing with bearings, any help is appreciated.

Can you  find  any play  in the bearings?

The  arbour  in this  saw  is  only a few  inches  long,  so any  play  will be  magnified  at  the  outer reaches  of  the blade  diameter.

My Metabo TS250  has  a similar design  and I've already  had  it apart. Not  to fit bearings, but to replace a part  due  to a design flaw.
The bearings  are  easy  to replace.
