End User Training: Cabinet Construction on Nov. 22-23 in Indianapolis, IN

Transportation is provided from our preferred hotel (Fairfield Inn on 86th) to our facility and back daily. There are plenty of places to eat across from the hotel. If you are flying in, you'll need to cover transportation from the airport to the hotel and back.

Dave, thanks for the feedback.  I'm not directly involved in the training program but I'll be sure to speak to the manager for that department and let him know.  Any other Canadians who would be interested?  Historically, we have only done end-user training at our training facilities but maybe we can partner with a dealer.  I'm not making any guarantees, but we'll see...
I'm in Toronto and would definitely be interested in classes, especially if they were aimed at users with a little less experience than "intermediate to expert level".

Does anyone know if there is shuttle service between the airport and hotel?

We checked when we made my reservation but nothing difinitive.

If you're staying at the Fairfield, I'm pretty sure the answer is no, no shuttle service.

                           WHO'S COMING!!!?   [poke]

I will be in the Las Vegas Cabinet Construction class a few week before.

Well, it looks like we have had last minute cancellations. If anyone is interested and can attend on short notice, please email me directly at sho@festoolusa.com to attend this class. All of the details are in the first post of this thread.

Thanks.

Fantastic cabinet class in Lebanon this week and a great crew!  Thanks again to Bryan, Minnie, Shane and the whole gang at Festool.  Tom

It did not happen with out pictures to prove it!

Fun course.  Very informative.  I went with three specific learning goals: parallel guides, LR32 system, face frame attaching with the Domino.  Got all that and a bunch more.  Definitely a couple of "a ha!" moments.
Really enjoyed meeting our classmates, and a special thanks to Gary for taking me to the airport!  Larry, you'll be hearing from me for future classes to see if we can carpool.

Great to meet the folks at Festool!
Bryan is a hoot and a half, and super knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Shane and Rick rather cruelly "teased" us with some upcoming products and NAINA vagueries...    [wink]

It was great to put hands-on a few items, and firmly cemented three purchases in the 2011 plan...  Oye!!  Now I have more reasons to "Think Spring".
I was happy with the result of our cabinet, though I had to leave for the airport before it all got put together.   [sad]

(David I hope you don't mind me posting this photo!)

Robert, no problem with posting.  It was a great class, and I enjoyed working with Wood_Junkie and others.  The RO 90 definitely joined my wish list.

Hey, that looks just like the base cabinet we built in  Las Vages

Did yours have two gremlins peeking out?    [wink]

I thought it was really cool when Bryan told us they get passed along to Habitat for Humanity.  Added an altruistic dimension to the training outcomes.
