Hi guys,

I was looking for info on replacing what could be the top bearing on a ETS 125 sander.

Is this a part that I could buy and replace myself.  Or do I need to send the sander into Festool for service?

A ball park price on this part or service would be great as well.  Because it maybe worth just buying a  new sander.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks Sal.  I forgot all about the EKAT system  [embarassed]

I own a ETS 125 and it's just find.  But I found a ETS 125 on my local craiglist for $75.  The guy said he thought it needed a new bearing.

I was going to go look at it and then he sent me photo's of the sander.  The pad look a little  beat up and the insert was missing.  The only

thing worth buying was the systainer.  Also, there was a UPS shipping lable on the top of the systainer, so something was going on with it.

I was going to buy it because the bearing on the EKAT are cheap, but after thinking about it, I left it for the next guy.
