Ets 150/3 vs ETS EC 150/3

About two weeks ago I bought the Ets 150/3. I've used it and like it very much, but was wondering if I should return it for the Ets ec 150/3? I'm a hobbiest, so I'm not sure if the features (ie brushless) are worth it ($$, likely two months without it and hassle). Any thoughts?

My situation differs from yours in that I own a large cabinet making shop. Therefore I have decided to replace my older ETS150/3 with the new ETS EC150/3 not just because of less maintenance of the brushless motors.

Long ago I used the new style during a trip to Europe. While the ergonomics might be less important to DIY, in my shop when we sand some of s do so for hours at a time. My experience is the new style is easier on my hands and arms.

I have pre-ordered 4 of the ETS EC150/3 and 1 of the /5. We do not use the /5 daily and when we use them it is seldom for very long. I expect to replace all of my /3 by early 2016.
