ETS 150/5 Sanding Pad Self Destruct!

Had a bit of a surprise this evening while doing a little edge sanding with my ETS 150/5. Bought it used a few weeks ago and was giving it a good rundown when suddenly, BAM! I've got bits of foam on my face. The foam of the sanding pad reached a critical point of degredation and separated from the mounting plate. Nothing was damaged and I wasn't harmed, just a bit surprised.

Guess I gotta order a new pad. Might have to give one of those Amazon replacement pads a go.

That's a pretty old pad there, not surprised it committed suicide!

The $25AUD ones I've been buying off ebay have been really good. Pretty much indistinguishable, apart from being less than 1/4 the cost.
