Euro Festollians, cheap alternative to Festool Lever Clamp

I'm getting a price from ACH autocolor of 35 euro for the festool quick clamps as opposed to 24 for the Juuma, the extra depth on the Festools makes it seem like there's an added functionality as well. Aside from that I agree in use they seem almost identical so saving 10 € per clamps adds up to 40 € when buying 4 of them. Something to think about..

To be honest, if I could get them for E34.77 which at the present time is circa £25, I would probably buy the Festool Clamps, although I believe German consumer law gives a minimum 2 year guarantee so the Juumas should be good for at least that.

I'm actually in the market for just such quick clamps, I'll likely just go for the Festools in a set of 4 these alternatives just don't look as well made. I've had cheap clamps and the ergonomics in use aren't good.

After buying the 4 Festools I'd try alternatives if needed..

Each to their own and there is certainly nothing wrong with the Festool Clamps, although if you changed their colours and removed the names, and went on the quality of the casting, I suspect that many would think the Juumas were the Festools. The quality of the casting of the main stem/bend on the Juumas is much better/consistent than that on the Festool Clamps.

Only time will tell if they hold up or not, but I have no complaints at the moment.

Well I'm tempted too, I think if quality is equal, the only deciding factor would be the smaller clamping depth..Not sure if it's worth the price difference, but it is a factor to consider..
