hi there.
i made up this from a cheap morticer . i took off the part for holing down the piece.
i bolted a piece of worktop to the base of the morticer.
and clamped a fence to the ply.
i am using the 35mm bit from my lr32mm system (because i dont have a compatable router so dont use the lr32 system).
the morticer is a good high rmp so the router type bit works well.
i put a safety guard (off of my drill press) to sheald the bit and to improve the dc.
i bolted a 67mm downpipe fitting to the fence so that my 50mm dc hose on the ct22 will catch all the dust.
the dc schroud can slid inside itself so that it is always incontact with the door etc.
i am planning on using the fence from my mft800 (never put it on as i use dogs most of the time) it will have flags stops ( i have an extra one ordered )
i find it to be a great way to drill the holes.
it is a fit heavy but well worth the effort. its a joy to use compared to a normal drill press
i also put the part for holding the piec on above the motor bracket so the it gives me somewhere to hang the cable and store the chuck key etc
