I picked up my uni-vac from Lee Valley Tools, something I "special ordered" for my Kapex, but is now available as a standard stock item. One end of the accessory is mounted to the dust port on the Kapex, and the other end to a hose connected to a Dust Deputy. It works as advertised:

One observation is that the "hose end" of the uni-vac is much wider than typical hoses, and so if you plan to use it with a typical shop vac or Festool dust extractor hose, you need to come up with an adapter to connect the hose to the uni-vac.
