Every day my CXS is clipped to my small tool belt during cabinet installs.  Not only that, it's so light that sometimes I forget its there and start to look around for it (true story.)

Well, the other day I had a burst of energy and started to jog up some steps, heard my drill fall down a few treads, then fall another 4' to the floor.  As it turns out, the belt clip busted.  The rest of the day, and for the past few days have been miserable.  I'm constantly having to set my drill down (a pain when on a ladder), and constantly searching for where I put it last.  Ugh.

A quick call to Festool, and voila!  I should have it in a few days free of charge!  Mighty fine customer service by Chris (I think it was Chris).  These guys don't mess around.

Any way, back to searching for my drill...

It might sound dumb but I think my favorite part of the CXS is the belt clip.  And big thumbs up to Festool service too. [thumbs up]

got them on my milwaulki but not on my t12, never thought about them until didn't have them

theres a clip on my new dewalt drill
i still use the old ones  adn hate that there isnt a clip . im always going to clip it on .

My first job using my CXS was installing my dust system duct work and clipping it to my belt while on the ladder was great.  I can't imagine trying to clip my DeWalt drill to anything other than a ladder hanger.

the last festool demo i was at i was playing with the drills.
i cliped on every drill they had onto my trousers and started jumping and shacking to try and knock them off, none did, the clips are very well designed
