I am going to have to replace my roof this year with the help of a Chippy/builder, as i dont really like the internal water features my house seems to have every wet season, and the tin tiles are only getting worse.
As i have to help him to do everything to keep the costs down im looking at getting a metal roof sheet driver, preferably cordless.
Its an upstairs house - 5+ish metres to the ground, so i dont want to be dragging an extension cord around.
I could go Hilti but that would run near $1500 ( as i have some 22v platform tools and batteries already).
I could go Makita - but have read way to many varied reviews ( I have this 18v platform also)
Definitely dont want to go 18v Dewalt or milwaukee, and Festool dont seem to do a metal sheet driver ( unless ive miss understood what the DWC 4500 is capable of)
I have found a Fein ASCS Heavy duty screwdriver kit for $380 - only comes with one battery, but even with the cost of a spare battery will only be total ~$500
Has anyone used one, are they any good -both the driver or fein, or are there any other recommendations i should look at.
Cheers
