If I use an adapter I would imagine it would raise the height of the blade which would affect how the blade rests on the magnet.  I know it had to be a long 78mm blade and offset like all Fein/Festool blades.  There are flat ones which would work.    There’s got to be a 78mm blade out there that’s regular offset like the rest and fits starlock/starlock plus.  It’s such a common fitting. 
I didn’t want to go the Vecturo route because they only have batteries now.  I can’t get involved with another battery line.  I’m all in with Dewalt cordless.

2nd, once you have the adapter fitted, you can use any "old" style blade. I buy the various extra long blade versions sold here:
