Hi, all.  I'm selling my Fein Multimaster.  Details in the link (goes to Craigslist).  It's basically new, bought in Jan 2008 and used the detail sander one time.  It works fine but I won't get enough use out of the rest of it to justify keeping in my museum of tools.  The link shows all the accessories, plus the detail sanding kit.  All instructions, paperwork, etc. are included.

Asking $225, plus actual shipping.  No shipping if you want to pick it up.  I'm in Noblesville, Indiana (north side of Indy).

3/20 Edit:  Price reduced to $200 plus shipping.  This is the Start model ($200 new), plus the Detail accessory kit ($70 new).

Sent you a PM.  For all others interested, this is the FMM250 "START" model.  A wrench is used to change attachments.

May I say that I have one of these tools and it is fabulous. It's expensive but it does things no other tool can do....as far as I know. Looks like a bargain to me.

The ONLY thing I hate about the new Multimaster is that the blades don't last long at all and are very expensive.  A guy who was on JLc was making them out of his home and I heard nothing but good things about him in past posts, but they changed the blades to a star pattern attachment and I don't know if he has conquered this yet.  They were about half price.  I can't seem to find this guy, but if this sounds familiar to anyone let me know.  I I could see how the star shape would be much more difficult to machine.  I think the 3 pack is about $80.00 for something that looks like it should be $20.00.

I do keep this in my van at all times and refer to it as a "get out of jail free card."  If you do home remodeling, you will find that there are far more uses for this tool then you anticipated.  Many jobs that you might have used something else, you will realize that the Multimaster is easier or faster or both.

Bcc, you are the man, I've been waiting to do something on one of my million projects at home and told my wife I was going to wait until I tracked down this aftermarket blade fabricating type guy.  Today I praise you and when the blades arrive I will momentarily curse you ;D

Hi, there is a pic on the link to the Craigslist ad.  It's new as of January.  It's not one of the tool-less models -- it requires a wrench to loosen a nut to change attachments.  It is a post-recall model.  Hope that helps.

Dave
