You won't be disappointed. I just bought mine and have been using it on a couple bath remodels. Sometimes a little frustrating on how slow it cuts certain materials but as long as you have the right blade for the job it usually gets it done with less mess than say a rotozip or the like. It would be nice if they made a vac attachment that went out to the end of the blade with a plunge action so that you could capture the dust.

Ive been using the Fein MM for a few years now.  Great tool but the switch gets sticky from time to time.  Gave it a squirt of silicone spray & that does it for a while though.  I copied JRB & put a pigtail on mine.  Its pimped  ;D

Have had the Fien MM and the Fien dust extractor for many years which i bought in a deal at Brisbane Carbatec, this replaced an earlier model stolen on site. You know there good when they get stolen right?

Anyway it had done plenty of work plunging into Australian hardwoods so had earnt its keep by then, anyway the Fien tools have always been excellent although lately i have been using my Makita LXT cordless one. This is not quite up to the build quality of the fien and does vibrate in your hand more during use but works well enough.

As space in the ute is at a premium i am carrying more and more cordless tools and leaving all my corded tools in the shed in the last few years.

The makita blades are cheaper than the Fien ones and work just as well if not better in my opinion.
I generally dip the blades into some Lanolin paste when cutting hardwood which helps them work cooler and prolongs the blade life.Silicone spray or WD 40 works nearly as well in pinch, although it may effect any finish on the bits you are cutting and silicone spray is a no no if you are to apply a painted finish after you cut as it causes fisheye in the surface.

Masters have a cheap set of blades (909 brand)etc in a box for $39.00 which are pretty good for the money.

i looked at the festool, but can`t see it being twice as good as my fein, considering it`s twice the price.I find the fein with bosch blades works best for me,the bades are half the price,i tried some of the even cheaper blades, the they are too stiff. Avoid the bosch cordless,i managed to get 10 minutes work out of it before the battery died and would not recharge, even after it had cooled(i`m talking days later),i may as well have saved myself a trip to the shop and just put £100 in the bin

Toolnut was selling Fein Supercut- construction model in orange sys 1 for $419.00.  Got mine today...it also comes with the adapter to use the Multimaster accessories which is great because that means I can use the blades and such that I already own for my Multimaster.  I love my Multimaster but at this price I couldn't resist...plus I don't have to buy another sys.  I also use a Milwaukee M12 cordless when I need a couple quick cuts.

Yep I used a friend of mines cheapy and there is a noticeable difference in the speed and quality of the cut.  Then the vibration is a whole other issue with the cheap versions.  Definitely stick with a Fein

I have an older Fein, and I like it a lot, but I've been using my Makita more and more.

Makita LZMT02Z on Amazon

The fact that it's cordless makes a huge difference to me.  The Fein Systainer stays in the shop or the van for all but the biggest installs now.

Of course, I'm heavily invested in Makita 18V gear, so it makes sense for me.  Your mileage may vary...

Does that adapter have a part number by any chance?  I didn't know such a thing existed.  MM accessories are readily available locally, so this would be handy to keep around.
