Festool 1010 EQ router and Festool vacuum MIDI

I have Festool 1010 EQ router and Festool vacuum. It is always a challenge to get the vacuum hose to connect to 1010 EQ
it takes a while to connect but once connected it stays on .

Is there easy way to get this hose connected to 1010 EQ quickly?

Squeeze it into more or less the right shape and push harder. Its a weird fit but for me it isn't overly difficult to put on.

The newer the hose connector the more stiff it’s going to be, that’s normal. As they break in they stretch a little easier, but it can take some use and time.

Looks like I have to keep doing, squeeze it and eventually it will get easier.
