Carvex -
Is much lighter (both a pro and a con).
Has better visibility while using the dust guard.
Larger foot/shoe.
Uses seperate bases for 90 degree and tilt (both a pro and con).
Has a magic strobe light.
Has a nifty circle cutter attachment.
Requires you to remove the whole base when removing blade (if you use a splinterguard).
Both can use splinter guards.
Both require manual adjustment of blade guides.
Internet folk will tell you that Mafell and/or Bosch make a better Jigsaw.
I wanted a Mafell for a couple of years but bought a Carvex, in the end.
They're all suitable jigsaws.

I went with the Trion and have been more than happy with it. The Carvex seems to polarise opinion, people either love it or hate it, whereas the PS300 seems to get a reasonable rap.
Only downside is there are less accessories for the Trion.
