I have a LEX 2 150/3 sander (as well as a few other Festool products including a dust extractor & hose.  What item(s) do I need to connect the air sander with ( and/or without) the dust extractor.
THANKS

The following is what I've heard from dealers, since I haven't actually used or seen the LEX family sanders while being used in a shop.
If you're not running the dust collection system with the sander at times, then nothing is needed as far as I know. If you are going to be hooked up to a CT Extractor, then Festool sells a 'Module' that connects in between the tool and the extractor to allow the vacuum to 'sense' air usage of the sander, which turns on the vac since you're not using a regular electric sander in the Vacuum's power outlet.
I've seen pictures of the module in Festool Catalogs, not cheap either.
As usual, this thing is still buried in their pages, but here is a Link- You'd still need the  3-in-1 IAS hose to connect the tool to the Module as well if you don't already own it.  part number still seems to be 496141 for the Module[ Air switch system]

And here is the IAS hose---but double check this as it may have been superceded by another hose assembly.https://www.festoolusa.com/power-to...accessories/antistatic-hose-ias-2-7000-488131
