Why don't festool make an open topped box that can be stacked on top of other systainers, useful for carring everything you can't really get in a systainer, when your carrying it on a trolley

No, with out the handle, so, at least in the UK, you can get a transformer, leads and other bits in it, but it'll still lock to other systainers underneath,
 
You can, but one with a reinforced rim, like on the festool tool box would make it last longer, a 3.3kv transformer probably weights between 5-10kg so it'd have to be robust
 
He is asking about what I would call a "bin", stacks on and under a Systainer or sortainer without a lid.

The toolbox is close and very much appropriated but doesn't stack under a tanos box.
 
You could easily adapt the mftb plans from Tim for this. Here is a pic of one I have in progress. Just stop there and add catches on the top of the back so a systainer will attach on top.
