I liked how the "lid" that you used to secure it to the wall (safety always!) also acts as a display shelf and dust inhibitor to keep things from falling behind the bookshelf into oblivion and likely never to be seen again.

I'm curious on the TXS why it was left in drill mode and the screws 'bumped' into place instead of using one of the torque settings?  Is it harder to get a consistent torque setting for depth using particle board?

Good pacing on the video, I didn't expect to watch it all the way through but still found that I did!

Hey Chuck, I think it may be this one.  I watched a couple videos when I started edge banding and this one was a hit with more than 1 person.  I got one and like it.

Yes that is their cutters. Work very well.

The Hammer K3 is mint. I remember the day it was delivered feeling like a daddy again... and then feeling guilty because I was being a "Shallow Hal" for liking a tool that much. Cheers!

Yes that is their cutters. Work very well.

If you're going back and forth between drilling and driving, the TXS and CXS can be a hassle to rotate the collar back and forth, especially if the right-angle attachment is being used.  That said, if you're changing between drilling and driving you're still swapping bits, so it's just one added step.

I've found the clutch to be pretty consistent and handy, though, since the driver has a decent amount of torque in low speed setting.

If they ever switch to a brushless motor (there are no indications that this is in the future path of the TXS/CXS), they could add the drill/drive switch found on the T18/C18, which makes swapping between drilling and driving much quicker.

I usually don't watch videos because they're usually a simple 5 minute message stretched to 15-20 minutes. Nice job on the video & book case.  [smile]

I'm also surprised with how good the dust collection is on the Hammer and I love the sliding table.
