Festool connect uk 2025

I have a local Festool main dealer called ProTrade based in Derby. They host two-day hands-on tool shows every two months, and Festool are featured at least once every three shows. The last one (just a few weeks ago) also featured Milwaukee, Makita, Fein, Lamello, Mafell, Wera and several others. There's free food and drink all day, 10% discount for anything you buy at the show, plus loads of freebie promo items (hats, shirts, the usual) being given away by the manufacturers.

Attendance is free.

These shows sound similar to the last Festool hands-on tool show I went to a couple years back. I think they called it “road show” or something like that. Lots of promotional stuff, basically every Festool send up to try out, etc. This event was also free.

It seems a bit bizarre to me that a company is charging to visit what is effectively their own sales demo.

Or have I missed something? Maybe you get a goodie bag?

This sounds like it's more along the lines of a trade expo than a manufacturers road show.

I would definitely be going if I didn't live at the wrong end of the country, I'm sure it will be a good day out.

Gordon has cost me a lot of money.......20+ years ago I was at an exhibition and I watched him demonstrating a ps300, that became my first of many Festool purchases.....

Here's a few photos of the last local Festool Roadshow hosted in 2018. Every Festool tool was available for hands-on customer use. Every attendee received a swag bag, the show was free and hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks were served...free of charge.

This was hosted by Betterley Tools in their parking lot, lasted most of the day.

It's a shame Festool USA doesn't do those kinds of demos. The last one I went to was a bit underwhelming.

Here in OZ a roadshow consists of a free snag sandwich BBQ with Dave from sales cutting through a few bits of timber!

Right been in touch via email to Festool uk , No machine sales at this event but you can purchase fan merchandise 😳.
I found customer services had a very cavalier attitude when I asked if there were any connsesions for OAPs I was met very
with short answers.
So why £33 Festool
Customer communication very poor Emma

Here they call it "Festool Experience". I went to one that was hosted by Kiem Lumber. The facility is great, but the "experience" was underwhelming, as onocoffee said. It was worth the 2 hour drive, but really only for the store.
A single folding table and a half-dozen or so tools, and more of a talk than demonstration. I'm sure it was informative to beginning users or curious on-lookers, but held nothing for me.
The swag bag contained a hat and one of the micro-Systainers, in the limited-edition blue-green colors.
I also got one of the handful of paper catalogs he had, later to learn that was the last year to be printed, in the US anyway.

I keep hoping to read that Festool USA is going to have a modern day equivalent of the Festool Connect Events of the past. The events at their headquarters were the best although probably the most interruptive to business. I'd travel!

I would travel too, it's less that 150 miles from me. I just don't see them opening to the general public like that? I could be wrong, but lately it seems they are more interested in "influencers"
