I was hoping some of you who attended could share some of the things you saw and heard today at Festool Connect. Please help the less fortunate as long as you weren't sworn to secrecy.

Conturo, Quadrills, Cordless 55, Drywall gun, were on display for part of the day. Nothing definite on dates or if NA will actually get them.

I would hate to think they would demo something that would never be available over here.

It is, of course, entirely possible that those products were on display so that Festool Germany could gauge the level of interest in the products before determining whether to bring them to North America.

That being said, the 18V tools are a no-brainer because there is no need to modify the motors and the 110V chargers are already available in NA.  The Conturo and other 220V powered tools are a different story.  Classic example is the Vacuum Clamping system that I bought here in Germany, and will simply use a step-down transformer to operate in my shop in the USA. (Festool products all seem to now be rated for both 50Hz and 60Hz which makes that a simple process)
