Festool CTM 36 AC take the boom arm

Hi people,

First time post.

I don't know if this has been brought up before but does someone know if the Festool boom arm 496468 will fit onto the  CTM 36 AC.

My concerns are that on the Festool (UK) website it states "boom arm for mounting to all CT 26/36 models (except CT 36 AC HD)"

which i think is the 2012/13 catalogue which shows the boom arm but with a different product code (496372) and states it can be mounted on the CTM 36.

Now they look both the same so I'm thinking the boom arm on the market now will fit, but would like some clarity and/or passed experiences from you guys before purchasing.

Your views would be greatly appreciated.

Can I ask, do you have the CT 36 AC HD as that is a specific model? If you don't have the HD variant then you can use the boom arm.

Take a look here at about 1:55 in and you'll see the difference at the rear of the HD.

You're welcome on both counts. And the N&B guys are a great bunch; get almost all of my Festool gear from them.
