Old;

Have yet to use the new one...

Seems the angle changed. Might be a positive. Haven't used it yet.

Weird, with people being taller on average you’d expect the new one the have a less acute angle (that is more upright).

This is probably an OEM product from a different supplier and it tells us that Festool is not really concerned about branding it.

I must be really small then, I have two of these brushes and they're both worn like this:

Who cares, it's just a brush. The ones I find at a thrift store for 50 cent are just as good as the Festools.

Dunno where you look, but all the cheap left-over stuff doesn't fit by 2mm..

And yes, mine wear the same.

It is branded. But maybe they didn't make their own photo...?

Europe has two most used standards for vacuum cleaner accessories, sized 35 and 28 mm. Festool calls it 36 mm, but it is just 35 mm like the rest.

It's not really the sort of brush people will be using standing up with a full set of extension tubes to vacuum the floor, so I don't think peoples heights are a factor.

(oh and people aren't getting taller, on average, they're getting shorter. In developed countries there is no real change though)

Statistics are screwed in "developed" nations due to mass immigration of shorter people...

Even the wiki now notes this... until that gets censored ofc; Dutch males age 20+ average 1808mm... Dutch males with Dutch origin average 1838... 30 mm taller.

The Dutch statistics bureau also has something to say;https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/nieuws/2019/48/lichaamsgroei-1981-2018-recent-vooral-gewichtstoename
Average male height increased by 38mm 1981-2018

Hopefully Festool will design to the average human, wherever they come from, rather than making special vacuum nozzles for Dutch giants though...  [big grin]

Well, they should start by fixing the MFT height. At 195 cm, the 900mm height is back-hurting low ...

Configurable angle brush for the win ?
[cool]

Actually ... that is something I would pay for!
/not because of the height reasons, of course/

Fack no. Half the world is already designed for female morning persons of average height and width. Take the busseats; with pitch of 450mm already to narrow to fit the average naked Belgium male at shoulder height. And riding the bus naked isn't even allowed!

Perhaps in the US the seats are wider, but landwhales are not as rare there as here, hehe.  [tongue]

So they have enough to choose from. Let us longer people have Festool with better working height.  [tongue]
