Is anyone going to attend the Festool Demo days at WoodWerks in Columbus, Ohio?  Oct 16th-Oct18th?

I figured this would be a good thread to connect with other people who may want to meet up at these events.  Also to get a better idea of what these demo days consist of.  Shane, can you chime in and tell us what a typical demo day is for Festool such as what content is covered?

There was an article in a recent SysNotes that talked about Demo Days...

"Here's your best opportunity to learn about Festool first hand from Festool representatives, at regional Festool Demo Days hosted by local Festool dealers.

What are Festool Demo Days? Some say it as a chance to see the tools in action. Some, as an opportunity to ask application-specific questions to Festool representatives. For others, it?s a chance to put their hands on the tools and see them put through the paces. We enjoy answering questions, as well as hearing how you are using your Festool tools. It's a good time for everyone present.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the upcoming regional Demo Days. For the most comprehensive and up-to-date list of Demo Days, visit the Festool USA website. Don't see a Demo Days event scheduled in your area? Send us an email at newsletter@festoolusa.com or consider attending a free Katz Roadshow event."

For Festool, it's the regional sales manager for the area where the Demo Days event is held.  For the one in Ohio, I think that's Larry Smith.  He's a heck of a good guy.

Hi Shane, there are two coming up in my area ...one at TW Perry in Chevy Chase, MD, and the other at Woodcraft in Springfield, VA.  Who is the area manager for my area?

Rob, the regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region is Jordan Haire.  He's a heck of a good guy, too.  ;D  In fact, I've never worked with better people than my colleagues here at Festool as was reported by the guys that attended the recent end user training.
