Hi All,

I am building some lattice for a deck project using PVC trim.  Let’s say, 10 feet long 1 foot wide with some narrow strips. There will be four stiles in each piece. I use the Lamello connectors in PVC with good success.  For the narrow strips I am going to use 5 mm dominos for ease of alignment.  I can’t see there being an issue.  I will use pvc adhesive.  Any issues do you think ?  Thank you.

Not criticizing the dominoes, but you can get PVC dowel rods.  So using PVC cement on both the joint and the dowels would result in a superior joint in my opinion.

I’ve used a cheap Rockler dowel jig to make rails and stiles for kitchen cabinets.  It worked very well.

I have used Dominos in PVC base boards at miter joints. It works fine, using the proper adhesive.
