To be more accurate as an edge sander, I think it also needs some sort of depth-adjustable parallel fence fitted ('a la their Router range), otherwise it's likely to produce a wavy/waney edge with a perfect 90 degree bisecting angle with injudicious use.
A standard, old-school orbital sander carefully held at a perpendicular incidence angle will gently help to maintain edge straightness. Rotary sanders are often too aggressive to do so unless used with the finest grits.
