I supposed books are 'accessories'.
I was actually looking for something entirely different and came across references to "Festool Essential" books. I see one for the Domino, another for the saws. Digging even deeper I see that the publication dates are current - available September 2008. However I cannot find a complete list of what is coming out, other than these two.
Did I miss a topic on these or are we into undiscovered country?

As a disclaimer I occasionally work.
Sometimes when I work I use Festools which I have paid for myself.
My wife recently bought a camera and was offered the options of several different colours.
When we got home she regretted not buying ...
... the one with the green buttons.

I believe that the author is going to turn out to one among us here at FOG. One of the sites that will  be selling the book listed the author as ANON.

From the looks of the cover Festool has to be either involved or sanctioning the books.

I just received the Domino book in the mail today. As a relatively new Festool user I was impressed with it. It goes from basics to more advanced techiniques. Each chapter is a pictorial essay on different aspects and uses of the tool. The second half of the book covers the line of vacs. It also lists all accessories for the domino and the line of Festool vacs. If you have much experience with Festools this book may be too basic for you, but if like myself, you're still playing around finding new things to do it is worth the price of admission. I'm still waiting for delivery of the saw book.

Does the book give details for the newer version of the tool, with the plastic tabs - or only focus on the original version with metal pins, or vice versa?

Hi Mike,

I haven't read through it yet, but so far it has been all the older version. I will post if I come across anything on the newer version.

The domino book only covers the model with the spring loaded pins.

It is not authored (as far as I can tell) by any of the internet regulars, i.e.... Brice, Rick, Jerry Work etc. It seems to be a collective work done by Festool themselves. At best there is maybe 1200-1500 words total. It's 160 pages of color pictures showing basic Domino operations with the associated accessories. The last 30 or so pages are dedicated to the 4 dust extractors and all their associated components.

Its a decent book, but there isn't anything in it you haven't already seen in the festool 08/09 catalog. As I mentioned in another thread, this is really the manual that should have come with the tool.
