Hi to everyone in the group,
I was wondering if it's possible to mount a bigger pad to my ETS 125 sander.
Occasionally I have to sand large piece of wood and I was asking to me if I could to buy and install a 150 pad that came from its bigger sister.

Thanks for any help [smile]

I believe, if memory serves me correct, that the only model that allowed you to install a larger pad was the ETS EC 125. Not sure if this applies to the regular ETS 125.

Thanks to both of you for the reply.
I appreciate your help, Cheese and Shebert409  :)

As we says in Dutch, where there's a will, there's a way.

The ETS 125 and ETS 150 sanders do not have the same mounting holes, but if you really want to, what's preventing you from drilling the 4 holes in a 150 pad you need, to fit it on a 125?

I do wonder if the 125 has enough power to drive a 150 mm pad.

Hi Alex, thanks for your reply.
Let me ask you one more question I have in my mind: is it possible for your experience to screw up a plate and pad of DTS400/RTS400 on a ETS125...?

Thanks

No. Now you're having a bit too much imagination.  [wink]

I mean, is it possible, sure. If you really want to you can screw a cat to an ETS125. But is it useful? No.
