I bought the sander above just over a month ago and it seems pretty powerfull to me compared to the Dewalt sander I was using. It is ligher but seems to require more muscle to hold it in place because it just wants to go away from my hand. I have the CT Midi at lowest suction setting to decrease swirl marks and tried lower speed setting on sander without much difference. The question I really have is quite frequently the sander just shuts off on its own. I am not touching the power button at all and thought it might be a safety measure to prevent pad from getting destroyed quicker by sensing the pressure appliec on the pad maybe? Does anyone know why my sander shuts off on its own now and then?
