A slight newbie on the FOG but had to ask the question, how many of you have the Green Festool Flu?  ;D  I just wanted to say thank you for passing the Flu around, my new TS 75 should be arriving soon from Bob Marino. This forum has been and will be very helpful to this member. Thank you FOG members and Festool.

Unfortunately there is no cure for this variety of FLU.  It will only get worse, much worse :o

Actually I think that those that do not enjoy their Festools are the ones who are actually sick...

Maybe having the festflu is a good thing. [smile]  Keeps the ones that don't have the sickness out of the shop [thumbs up].

It definitely is a flu bug!!! I got it with one tool and now I have CT26 and 3 tools, plus MFT in about a 2 month time frame. I think the only thing that slows down the flu is the LACK of money to buy more....isn't this where I am supposed to rob a corner store [eek]
NOT really, but I am scheming for the next purchase!!

My requirement for dust control and precision make owning Festools, and the like, a necessity - not an infliction, habit, bug, or flu.  Owning Festool products has afforded me the pleasure of being able to work wood in my tiny home shop.  So, here's to healthy BUY-BUY-BUY!!! [thumbs up] [thumbs up]

This bug is getting ridiculous, I got my first taste with a syslight 1 year ago. Since then this is my list:
Planex w/ ct36AC and harness
DTS 400
Kapex
WS cleaning set
27mm hose
Second syslight
CXS
Ti15 w/ depth stop chuck
And a ct midi on the way
Plus a half dozen or so tanos systainers for my other tools

They should have a warning label on the systainers.

Warning Buying Festools can be Hazardous to your Bank Account

I don't view it as a bug or a sickness.

I look at it more like a mutation.. along the lines of Spider Man. Somewhere I got exposed to well built tools, great customer service, and training. Now that knowledge has fused with my subconscious and there is no getting away from it.

It's definitely a contagious illness.. Some people are more susceptible to catching it than others.  I bought a track saw... Then a jig saw.. Then the light.. Then some sanders.. Then more sanders.. Then the planer... Then the router.. It just keeps going and going.
