Festool Multi Tool Reviews

I have a Fein corded multi tool and the Festool cordless one.
Since getting the cordless,I haven’t used the corded Fein.

The Fein 12V battery is incredibly bulky, so I don't agree with your point on that. But it's probably relative since Fein's own 18V batteries are heavyweights too...
The 18v 6,0ahs are bulky, the 12v 3,0ah is tiny

40% heavier than the Bosch 12V 3.0
That Bosch also goes up into unused space (the grip), whereas the Fein tool will have most likely have a void space and then an external battery "blob".
The latter is the price you pay for being compatible with 18V too.

to the OP; I had a cheaper Makita one for years; sprung for the Festool cordless, and was blown away by the performance difference. I was literally confused as to how much better it was.

I have just purchased a Fein MM500 Multi tool corded ,I also have the ETS 150 and CT 36 Vacuum , my question is what would be the better option to connect to the Festool CT 36 many thanks first time poster :) Fein attachment or Festool attachment

If it’s the latest MM500 I’m not 100% sure the Festool collar will fit. It will fit the new MM700. Having run the two side by side the Festool seemed to collect dust a little better, but if your only option is the Fein dust connection then it’s better than nothing.

Thanks mate, I might take it To my local Festool shop and see if if will fit , the Fein is i guess the latest model MM 500 as i only purchased it on Sunday gone ?

I have the DeWalt corded multi-tool. It’s function has been fine, and the multi-tool is sometimes the only logical tool to use.

I cannot comment on durability as I have used it infrequently. I have had mine for about 5 years.

There is a huge difference in blade durability. I’ve had poor durability with the bargain blades.
