Festool Planer Jointer

I know that most of us that have Festool equipment, like the portable nature of the system.  It would be great if Festool would make a small planer-jointer like the old Inca 570.  I have a small shop and would love to have such a tool.  The fact that they don't make the Inca any more is part of the reason for the wish.

I have the same wish.  Check out the Rikon.  Apparently you can order them from Woodcraft.  I am trying to decide if it is worth the risk buying it sight unseen.  If it is a quality machine, it might be a good solution.  Kinda looks like the Inca.  http://www.rikontools.com/productpage_25-010.htm

Jet also has a couple of new portable planer/jointers, but they look a bit chintzy to me....

Thanks for the heads up.  I will take a good look at when it comes out.  I have the same opinion on the new smaller ones from Jet.
