Festool Please tell me this is happening!! CT SYS USA!!

I got a YouTube email about this video. I just made my own version out of a Bosch Lboxx and it works great but I'd probably still buy this if it came out too.

Seems odd Festool USA would post this video without releasing it...

Video has been made private. This has happened in the past, Festool will give plenty of advanced notice on new item releases as per usual... my guess, since Vac Sys came out in March and April is the annual cash flow increase, I would say May would be the next possible new items release date--

I caught the video before it went private, eager to see this hit the states.

Here's hoping that they will release it in Canada as well!

I'll be choked if they don't bother with releasing it in Canada and getting it certified by CSA (Canadian Safety Association). I'll be making a trip across the line into the States to buy it there.

The stupid thing is that in Canada we also accept the use of devices imported in individually carrying the USA standard of ULC (Underwriters Laboratories Certification) but businesses importing devices in bulk for sale/distribution are required to obtain CSA certification. The ULC designation is every bit as rigorous as the CSA certification

I guess I'll need to make a trip across the border to pick mine up this summer.

Us Canadians are the afterthought cousin of the US market release of new Festools.

Maybe I'll hold my breath until Canada gets the nod too! Okay...maybe not, I'm turning blue already [crying]  [tongue]

I can't see this not happening, this vac would be so convenient and helpful to many myself included. I also want the big led light to come over.

Somehow I just noticed the "blower" function on this thing. I will most definitely be picking this up even though my own creation already serves me well.

Yeah, nice little bonus feature. The old CT 22/33 had a port that you could plug the hose into that would blow air, albeit not high pressure. Good for blowing up air mattresses and stuff.  [smile]
