I don't understand why is this radio sells for 39-59 bucks and then why festool would jack the price up?  Thats unreal if you ask me..  I could see myself paying $75 max for this radio that has Festools stamp on it.  If it has extra features I might be willing to pay more.

We talked about this radio before and the reviews on it were not that great.

If memory serves Festool isn't selling the radio at all, they're giving it away free with purchase of a tool (I think the Kapex). I believe it is Ebay sellers buyers that are jacking up the price.

Festool giving away radios that are made in china (if they are made in china) just doesn't strike me right as sending a message of promoting German technology & quality.  At the least they should be stereo speakers not 80 year old mono technology.  Perhaps they pickup programs from the golden age of radio like Little Orphan Annie, Hopalong Cassidy, the Adventures of Philip Marlowe, etc.  [big grin]

Bosch 360 is the best toughest radio ive ever had.

Has everything too. House plugs car plugs 2 aux inputs! You guys are spoiled if dont like the bosch!  [wink]

I own the Bosch radio that has the outlets, runs on a batery, charges a batery.

It is the biggest pile of junk job site radio I have ever owned.

The sound is good, reception is aweful (especially when charging a batery), it is just not worth the money I paid for it.  Which was around a 100 bucks on sale.

I want to get the Makita one, it is small, sounds good, and will run on my older 12v nimh battery's.

Try to get your hands on an older Milwaukee, I love the sound quality on mine.

Why would he want a Milwaukee?  He just said he has Mak batteries.  The Makita is a great sounding radio.  Yea the older Milwaukee was the best sounding of them all, but if you have the batts, that's the one you buy.

Makita by a mile. Had the Dewalt and liked the battery charger feature however it was to big and bulky. When I wore out my last Dewalt 18V drll I went to the Makita drill(love the light on the front) and purchased the radio off ebay for $50.  It's small, light and I can toss it around without issues.
