Random Orbital Sander ETS EC 150/3 EQ-Plus is currently up.

Looks like about 28 Sanders were sold during this one and done...

I'm concerned that this lack of recon stuff is in preparation of making it a paywalled privilege as they hinted at in their surveys

The lack of items on Recon isn't that unusual.  Honestly, until a few (6? 7?) months ago, it wasn't even busy enough to warrant the Slack app that Anthony created to watch the site.

It ebbs and flows, I don't consider this terribly unusual.

You'll really see it take off when the fall tools get released and a bunch of people trade in their less-than-30-days-new old models to "the new hotness".  And even likely some returns of "the new hotness" that people just didn't get on with for one reason or another, albeit at only maybe a 10% or 15% discount.

It's hard to believe we're coming up on 2 years since I made the Slack app public. September 6, 2021 was the date I made the first post inviting people to check it out. Time really does fly by.

The ETS EC125/3 has been up for almost twelve hours on recon. These usually go fast, but I see this is 571897.  This sander had an intermittent shutoff problem due to a bad circuit board.  Can anyone confirm that the improved circuit boards are installed by RECON before they sell them.?  If they did not, then I can see the board acting up right after warranty runs out.

i would appreciate people's thoughts on how good Recon refurbishes items.  I bought a midi dust extractor once and  could not get the rear wheels to turn.  dust extractor was very dirty.  I took the rear wheels apart and they were packed with dyrwall dust that had gotten wet and turned into drywall sludge.  In this case someone was very hard on the machine, then when it was returned, it was not checked out really great.  Other times I received what could have been a brand new tool.
