It sure would be nice if they posted whether these were the 14 or the 21.  This looks to be the 21 after searching the part number.

I'm not sure what the functional difference is, but I'm sure it matters to someone.

During the "Recon-email" era, I missed out on an SE-2 for the Vac-Sys. With all the chatter about it being discontinued, I snagged one from an online vendor and it is sitting on the bench as of 3 hours ago. When I ordered, the vendor had 8 on-hand... sold-out in 30 hours. Bet they sold 2 a year previously. Now if the big-a$$ head would come in stock... I need one for my tiered cabinets. 8'x1' pattern routing. "need" is subjective.

As for those statistics... I wouldn't mind a once-a-day bot posting with the statistics because it's interesting.

I worked a corporate IT job at a large e-commerce site for almost 20 years and my favorite projects were always automation, ETL, and bots. When I found out about Recon, it was a no-brainer. I snagged a couple tools then decided to share it with FOG.

As for those statistics... I wouldn't mind a once-a-day bot posting with the statistics because it's interesting.

I just rewrote the bot and have started collecting data for each tool posting rather than overwriting it each time a new tool gets posted. I'll come up with some queries for stats and post them into a new Slack channel (#stats or something similar)

I know I'm not [member=75283]4nthony[/member] , but Slack localizes the times to your timezone; at least, that's how all of my other Slack accounts work, and this one bears out that way, too.

Now, when he posts screenshots, those are probably in PST, since that's his home Timezone.

Here's a screenshot of the last few items with PST timestamps. If you look in your app, you should see the same things, but with localized timestamps.

Maybe that's the refurb part... price is the same as the recon TSC55 REB Plus SCA kit I bought a couple months ago.

[member=1170]Stan Tillinghast[/member]  If you're signed up correctly, you should be able to go tohttps://recontools.slack.com in your browser (phone or desktop) and it will either load or prompt you to log in. New users are added to the #festool channel by default and the bot is already linked to that channel. There's also a #help channel with links to configuring notifications.

If not, try visiting the invitation to join link again.

Once signed up, install slack on your phone from the app store.

If you're still unable to sign in, send me a private message and I'll try to help.

Maybe that's the refurb part... price is the same as the recon TSC55 REB Plus SCA kit I bought a couple months ago.

I looked through some old materials, and it appears that the TSC55 Plus comes with a TCL-3 "standard" charger, and the XL comes with either a TCL-6 or SCA-8 (in this case, since it's XL-SCA, that means SCA-8).
