I have 3 FESTOOL roll boards and I have lost 3 of the plastic brakes that clip onto the wheels and  lock the wheels to stop them rolling around in the van.  Does anyone knoW the part number or somewhere else I can get these little bits from as I don't want to have t buy 3 complete feet
Thanks very much alister

As Peter says, you can't but the locks on their own.  You have to buy a whole wheel.  The wheels cost £12

Let me know if I can help

Many thanks

Tom

I didn't really want to buy 3 wheels at £12 each that's £36 it's only just over £40 for a complete cart.  Any other ideas it just seems like silly money for 3 small plastic parts I might just end up removing the wheels and replacing them with a cheaper one.
Dont get me wrong i love all my festools (jigsaws excluded) but Sometimes I don't know where they are coming from with spare part/accessories prices and for that matter the ts55 should come with a fence and the ehl65 a chip bag c'mon you wouldn't buy a brand new rolls royce without the wheels would you.

if you need the brakes then i would reconmend buying a whole new rollerboard. i never use the brakes really (maybe 1 sometimes when in a few places in the shop). it usually stays where i leave it.

As far as I can remember roll boards only come with 2 locking wheels (opposite corners?) so not worth cannibalising a new one just for the wheels - do you really need them both to lock? All my regularly-used systainer stacks are on roll boards; when they're loaded in the van locking one wheel stops them shifting around (even though they're strapped in place with bungy chords) but that's the only time I've ever needed to lock a wheel.

Due respect, but it's more like saying that the Rolls Royce should come with a set of snow tires, just in case a few people want to (ill-advisedly) take it rallying in Scandanavia. Sure, you can, though it's not really what it was meant for - but if it's what you want to do then accessories are available that makes it possible. The TS55 is designed to be used on a rail, the EHL65 with an extractor; personally I wouldn't want the purchase price to include accessories I'll never use.

Anyway, good luck with the roll boards - if you do find a set of locking castors that match, post back here as I'm sure folks will find the info useful.

Cheers, Pete
