The 30mm OD sticks in the Dominofix and I want to be cautious. Have you had this problem? This was directly correctly inserted and I had to release the router and fashion a wood piece and drive it out with a hammer. I have 2 of these and they both stick.

YES I had that problem. I think it is the variation in the tolerance in the ring you are using. This makes sense if you think about it. Make the holes tight and modify the ring. I slightly sanded mine to the desired slip fit. I love it. So my advice is to carefully sand the ring to your desired "fit". Once that is achieved, simply mark the ring so you know which has been mated to the dominofix.

Thanks for your help. Sanding the template was my gut reaction. I was pleased to see these people hold tolerances this tight.

I had experience with Dominofix. Their customer support was amazing and comprehensive. I highly recommend their product.

Its due to tolerances. I try to keep as tight as possible and the jig are always checked with several models and brands of copy rings to try and get the average. As mentioned in the instructions, if the copy ring is to tight, use some steel wool or vlies to rub over the ring to make it fit better. Its only about 0,01 of tolerance to make the difference:

Here is a link to a digital copy of the instructions:http://dominofix.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/mft-instrucitons-.pdf

due to the tight tolerances of the fixture it is important to take special care to remove material very slowly and evenly from the copy wring. IF this is done, you will get a excellent results. I have used mine extensively.
