Me and my friend Julian really wanted a Festool Boom Arm but the only thing that stopped us from getting one was that you need to permanently attach it to your vacuum and lose your cord storage and Yes I know you can take it apart it in a short time , but its not that pleasant every single time to take it apart and put it back together just to go inside with the vac.

so there was two solutions , 1. buy a second vacuum or 2. for the poorer members on this forum that can't buy a vacuum for every tool in there shop ( lol don't worry I'm just jealous of other set ups I've seen ) is this set up. ( photo's below )

we just anchored it to the ground and wall and it works perfect for a small shop . ( you just need to remember to install it at the same height as how it sits on the Vac as it will bump your rail of the MFT.

Very clever idea.
I might incorporate that into my vac when I get it as I really only do work at my bench.

Thanks for the idea!  I recently picked up an old CT22 handle and I attached it to the wall, so my boom arm can go between my vac and workbench.
