Is there no sweepstakes being offered this month?
http://www.festoolsweepstakes.com is blank (no prizes).

"Thank you for your entry into the Festool Sweepstakes. We will announce the randomly selected winner at the end of the entry period. The winner will be contacted via email to make arrangements for prize shipment. For complete sweepstakes terms and conditions, please review the official sweepstakes rules.

Be sure to come back again next month for a new opportunity to win yet another Festool power tool!
ERROR! Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'prizeid', table 'Sweeps.dbo.Entries'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. The statement has been terminated. "

I saw the same issue the first few days of June.  It was eventually corrected.

My birthday is in two weeks, that'd make a good present. Hint hint.

I just tried entering the sweepstakes even though it still doesn't show what the sweepstakes is for this month.  Unfortunately, it is still showing error messages.

I also noticed something else weird.  I was just surfing through the other portions of the sweepstakes site.  I went to the list of prior winners.  I noticed that in April when Festool was giving away one Syslite per week for the month there was only a single winner listed.

I've been having trouble for a month or so entering the Festool contest . I'm CDN and it flags me for a invalid email. Any info on this .

The Web site Festoolsweepstakes.com was "not found" on 9/1/15 as of 2:20 PM EST.

This is what I get at 3:00 PM Eastern:

HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.

[sad]

That's what I get today too.

Any chance one of the Festool folks could chime in here and let us know what the story is?

Thanks.

So I just got an email back from Festool about this issue with the sweepstakes. Here is what Tyler Clark had to say in the email he sent me. "Festool has decided to pause our monthly sweepstakes for the moment. We'll continue to offer new ways to reward our customers and engage with followers. Keep following us on Facebook or Twitter for updates new contests and promotions."
So I guess we will have to wait and see how Festool is going to reward their customers and engage with their followers.

Lets hope they dont only post details on F-Book and Twitter. Lots of people dont use that "social media"

I just emailed Tyler back to ask if there is any other way for customers to find out about new promotions and new contests. So I am just waiting to hear back from him and once I know I will let everyone know.

Just to make sure that youse ol' FOGgies are aware:  The FOG is social media.  So if you're posting here, you're using it.
Also, you can check companies of interest to you-- such as Festool's Facebook posts and Twitter feed pages WITHOUT being a member of those platforms.  Just type in 'festool facebook' or 'festool twitter' into the ol' googlematic and you can view all the announcements and notifications as well as comments.  You only need to join if you want to leave comments, etc, just like on the FOG here.  As a member you can also set up limits as to who can view your own Facebook page and a plethora of other stuff.  By the way, I'm not on Facebook either.  I try save all my sardonic brilliance for the FOG...
