For those that have won a Festool tool does Festool send along tax information for paying taxes on that prize/gift?

We do provide a prize claim affidavit, which must be signed and returned before the prize is shipped. This is used for tax purposes. 1099s are provided to sweepstakes winners by Festool annually.

Edit: Richard, I'm pretty sure he has not won the sweepstakes yet.

7) GENERAL: This Sweepstakes is subject to the laws of the United States and Canada (other than Quebec). Except as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, no substitution of the prize shall be offered and no transfer of the prize to a third party is permitted. All federal, state, and other tax liabilities arising from this Sweepstakes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. A Form 1099 will be sent to U.S. winners. The prize is not redeemable for cash. No more than the listed prize will be awarded.

We had a FOG member, who isn't quite as active anymore, win one of the SysLites last month. Not sure if there have been others, but I don't think so.

Never mind the elusive chances of winning the contest, what about another 10% discount period on something?  It's been a while!

I need a reason to buy more Festool that I think I need.  [scared]

As chance would have it, we had a winner this month who's a FOG member. He has entered every single month into the sweepstakes for 19 months straight and finally won. He will be added to the list of winners on the sweeps site as soon as I get his signed affidavit. Thanks to all who entered. This month's prize is a PS 300 jigsaw and dust extractor.

Kevin, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but no plans for any promotions currently.

Shane,
Thanks for the statistic.  I was sorta curious how many times I've entered.  I have a monthly reminder on my calendar to make sure I don't forget.  Sometimes dedication pays off!  :-)
