Made a worktop after seeing the concept of 3d-printed cleats in another post here on FOG. As i just got myself a 3d-printer i couldnt wait to try these guys out :) Luckily im adept at 3d-cad. I must say that the worktop is a godsend for my type of work (locksmith / Alarm-technician). Anyone want the STL-files for the cleats they are available on thingiverse. Link down below.

Nice design.  I used similar 3D clips from the gentleman that originally posted them awhile back for a Midi work top, but needed it to be a little bit larger so I could work bigger peices on it.  And because the T-lock would stick up above the plane when it engaged the tab, I gave it a lift with some 1x2 poplar strips on the bottom which also allowed the clamps to be inserted a bit easier.  I had problems with the clips delaminating though, so I had to wrap them in tape.

Yes the clips can tend to delaminate due to the process of 3d-printing. One possibility is to make moulds using 3d-printed parts and cast them in something harder.

Like the big worksurface alot. Will probably make something like it someday :)
