Not exactly. Note that the MFT tops do not have the same long dimension as their corresponding long-side table profile, therefor your new MFT top must be a little longer.

That should work. And there are many examples of that here. Keep in mind that you may not really need a long rail for that task -- a short section front and back may do the trick. [big grin]
