If you want to keep this forum unbiased, as unbiased as a Festool cheer leading forum could be anyway, the word problem better be used.
There have been many problems with many of their tools. So what, that's why I buy tools across different lines and find the best for me in each line. I do not buy Festool just because of the name. If I did and based it on the problems so many Festools have had I might never buy another Festool.
For me I judge tool by tool, not company by company. I have yet to find a company that makes every tool they make the best in their category.
So many have posted "they would never buy DeWalt" because of this one experience with them or "I would never buy another Milwaukee" because of their cordless drill battery problem, but I rarely if ever hear, "I will never buy another Festool because of the Kapex fiasco or the Carvex issues", etc, etc.
So use the word problem if the Festool has one and keep it honest. If we don't then when we praise a Festool really deserving why should anyone believe it.
Don't be in denial, some of the Festools leave a lot to be desired and need improvement, at least for me they do.
