Festool top sales

Back when we were in western burbs of Chicago, went to the closest woodworking store to make a serious purchase of Festool tools and expendables.  Enthusiastic sales guy met us and when I mentioned Festool, he wanted to show me some "... much less expensive stuff that was just as good."  When asked about the MFT/3 he said that it was "... worthless and way over-priced."

We left, and I called Bob Marion.  So much for supporting local brick and mortar.

Hey Dr. D,

That's Marino, not Marion - which is actually my paternal grandfather's first name as well as John Wayne's.

Since NCAAM's will be settled tonight and I still have a compulsion to fill out brackets, I pick Bob Marino as #1 seed in the East. [popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn]

Hi Greg,

I only wish that were so, but then again, gives me more incentive try harder......

I've bought from various venders including local...40 minute drive.  Hartivlle, Bob Marino, and Toolnut/Festoolproducts.  Bob is great and gives personal service...when I say personal, I mean Bob answers the phone!!  Toolnut is great in that they carry a full, and I mean FULL line of contractors equipment.

Thanks for them there kind words!

I support my local guy, and personal friend, here in the Midwest bracket but until knocked out you're still #1 in the East.

Hey Bob.  The fingers never seem to understand what the brain says when I'm typinf.  Sorry about the foul-up.  I appreciate all the guidance you have given me over the past few years about Festool, and I appreciate that I've always gotten my orders quickly, complete, and in-tact.  That with your service - can't ask for more.

If you're talking about Woodcraft, my experience has been, thankfully, much much more positive.
