Would make pretty much every other cordless tool Festool make a far more viable prospect. Just in case nobody else has mentioned it [wink]

I wonder who their market is if they are not making 110v tools? the small builder or diy  market?

and does that mean its more stuff for the naina list?

They might be thinking 1st fix & cordless! maybe they will enter the nail gun market. I would like to see a cordless planner but who knows.
