Looks like the new Festool USA website is online.

I really like it and think it is a huge improvement over the old site.

Shane, you've done a great job!!!

I agree - it's a huge improvement.

Really like the large photos and the navigation is very clear.

A fair number of product data gaps exist:
Still missing a few thumbnail images in the product listing pages, particularly on the accessory listings.
Missing some product data - you can't filter router bits for the MFK700, for example.
Kapex FAQ's are not there.

I'm hopeful those details get filled in shortly - the architecture and flow and foundation is strong.  They just needs some finish carpenters!!

Great job Shane & team -

I am looking for product manuals on the new web site, and cannot find them.  There are no links to the user written documents and manulas either.  Help!

If you select the tool you're interested in, there's a link for FAQ's & Manuals.  They're listed down the lefthand side of the screen that comes up.

The one I looked at for the C12 wasn't in English, who knows about the other ones.

Thanks Steve, that helps.  However, I tried finding a users manual for the Kapex, and none is shown in the list.  I suppose it is not available on line yet.  Rick's manual for the TS55 is not listed either.  Hopefully the users manuals and supplemental manuals we used to be able to access will be added soon.

Very nice job on the website.  The filtering of product and accessory results seems to not be working properly, but  otherwise, vastly improved.

Thanks to Shane for adding the links to the users and supplemental manuals on the Festool USA site.

The new site is visually appealing and appears to have info on the newer products that never made it into the older site.

BUT -- it looks like they have deleted the list of online sellers.  This is bad news for folks like me;  there aren't any dealers near me so any Festool I buy will be mail order.

One wonders why they would withold info like that, since many folks don't have a dealer nearby.  Certainly, a google search will turn up online sellers, but I liked having the comprehensive list available.

Also, I couldn't find a link to FOG.  They deleted the link from the old site when they started the legal proceedings against FOG;  I thought they had said that it would be restored in the "new" web site.  I can't imagine that they just forgot, and they certainly have had plenty of time.  So I can't help wondering if they have changed their minds.

They do have Dealer links on their web site.  From the home page, click on the "Where To Buy" tab, select your state and it will bring up a list of online vendors / & that vendors website if they have one.

This is interesting, I too thought the link was going to be on the new site. Well, the new site could still be incomplete and it may be added soon.

And for the record there wasn't any legal proceedings against FOG by Festool. This issue was over the use of Festool, trademarked name, by the FOG in the domain name. This is about intellectual property and handled through binding arbitration by WIPO.

Hi Mike-

On the old site, they had a page that listed all the dealers that sold online direct.

The new site does provide a link to a dealer web site, if they have one, but you have to click on the link to see if they sell online.  Many dealers have web sites that don't include direct online sales.

For example check the link to Anderson Plywood.  They have a site, but when you get there it only has info, no sales.

I thought it was much more convenient the old way, and wish that concise listing of online dealers was still available.

Good Morning,
I can't get to the Festool USA site.  When I enter www.festoolusa.com, I keep getting routed to the Festool international site.  Anyone else having the same problem?
Thanks,
Matthew

I clicked on your above link and go directly to the Festool USA site.  Maybe try clearing out your browser, clearing user history, etc then try again.  I'm not having any trouble getting to the USA site.

Good Morning,
No, I tried to access the site using three different browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari) with the cache completely cleaned out.
Wonder what's going on here?
Thanks,
Matthew
