Does anyone know if the Festool 27mm vac hose fitting correctly fit the dust collection port of a Bosch 1250DEVS sander? Will mods and/or adapters be required?

I do not have one of these sanders, but it looks like a round port so the end should fit. It will not be anti-static plastic (or at least I think that will be the case) and so you may need to add some metal tape or something on the tool end to connect the hose to avoid static - at least I had to do that with a different Bosch sander.

This is the same sander I"m looking at. Did you ever find out if it fits the Festool hose? If you bought the Bosch sander how do you like it?

Just get a universal adapter:

That DEVS sander has a huge amount of power, even more than an RO 150. But after using the RO 150 so long I just didn't like how the  1250 handled. It's a heck of a sander though. I had to use one for two weeks when I broke the handle off my RO 150. I sent the Bosch back once I received the RO part. I almost kept it as a back up.

Though those Fein adapters are not technically anti static(I dont think they are) I never get any static using them.
