I think I like it. I actually have a use and specific place it can go right now!

I like the latch on that systainer. Can the knuckle busting be over. It's called  T-Loc I guess.

Shane, get that for us. We want it now, now, now. I'm stomping my feet like a little brat boy who can't have an ice cream cone because it is too close to dinner.
I would so buy that right away. That is a very nice, useful accessory. Turns the CT into an all out workstation, which it already is anyway.

Feet stomping, breath holding, screaming - all noted.  I'm not sure when or if we will see this in the U.S.  But I'll pass along the feedback.

I heard a while ago that there where new systainers coming out in September.  Was told that they would work with the old ones as well.  I wonder how?  It looks like the T-Lock is on a pivot.  Maybe tabs on the bottom but that would only allow these to lock into the on top of the old models.  Frank where are you ???   [laughing].   The vac rig looks pretty good.  Id like to see how small it gets when fully broken down.  nice find amcore.

They will work with the old, don't worry

The new T-lock systainer will work on top of the existing systainers, but not vice versa.  And before any one asks, I could not do the Fogtainer with the t-lock.

Peter beat me to it. Systainer T-Loc will only latch on top of what will be called the Systainer Classic (current style). Just to "officially" confirm.

Shane, make note of another foot stopping brat, I want one these bad.

It needs an integral boom arm with "y" splitter, keep one sander hooked up and attach other tools as needed. In my  basement shop this would be killer.

I understand the T-Loc systainer will lock on top of classic systainers, but not vice-versa.

Will the T-Loc systainers lock to each other?

Will the T-Loc work with the current Sysports?

Bill,

I don't see Shane or Franck active right now, but as far as I am aware, the T-loc is innovative in that the knob on the front will lock and unlock the lid in one position and lock unlock the stack in another.

I haven't asked the question about the sysports, but I would venture a guess that they will.

I thought I had all I needed!  Festool is really emptying my wallet out....  Is it possible that they will incorporate some sort of Boom Arm replacement with this new, wonderful contraption?

Bill (and everyone else), there will be plenty of information about the new T-Loc system forthcoming presumably in the next few months time.  The T-Loc knob has three positions: open, closed and locked, each at 90 degree rotation intervals.  Locked meaning the locking position to link it to another systainer.  The dimensions are almost identical to existing systainers, I think they are approximately 1-2mm taller. So, they should work with the SysPort without any issues whatsoever.

I'll probably refrain from answering any additional details since I have not seen and been briefed on all of the details myself and I don't want to provide inaccurate information but this is the information as I understand it at this point.

Again, I've not received much information on the Workcenter so I don't know if it would work with the existing boom arm.  However, Festool engineers are very methodical so I would assume that it would.
