It's listed on festool's UK website as GBP 314.90, which I'd guess translates into about $500 of your funny little dollars.

The list price in the UK is GBP314.90 as Rick stated, but that price includes VAT which you guys don't pay. Excluding tax it's listed at GBP268.

Additionally, this is (I'm guessing) classed as an 'accessory'. Items classed as 'accessories' can be, and usually are, discounted by dealers by up to 20%. That brings the realistic base cost of the WCR1000 down to GBP214.40.

That equates, at current rates, to about $340.

I really like the WCR1000, and I want one. I haven't got a CT26 yet, but it's just been bumped up the list by this. Unfortunately it's also bumped up the price... [eek]

You're quite right, Jonny, thanks for pointing this out...being a hobby purchaser I forget about VAT being discountable in any way!

Approximately $1600-1900 apiece ? Jeez, I didn't think the day would ever come when Festool would look inexpensive.  Does Megan Fox hand assemble it ?
