Festool Work App not available on iOS in the USA?

How do we update the firmware in our batteries then? My TID18 does not activate the CT BT module but same battery with an old T18 does?

The TID18 doesn’t kick the vac on. It’s not the battery according to festool.

Can you please elaborate? Why sell a tool with bt enabled batteries if that’s not the intention?

I’m guessing an impact is for driving screws and bolts not drilling is there reasoning. Different tools leave the vac on for different times after you turn them off acording to the guy I spoke with.

Okay, fair enough. Still, does anyone know why the work app is not available in the US?

Ahh, right.
So the system is a bit brighter than I thought.
Going by that I guess it doesn't activate with a Sysrock or a worklight either?

I jusg assumed if it was paired it would just activate as soon as there's a power draw but I've never bother to pair it then use it on something that didn't need it to activate the extractor.

Is this available in the USA, or will it be available in the USA anytime soon? Was it just pulled from iOS in the USA, or?

I can't seem to figure out what the actual status of it is, but curious to keep all my batteries updated, etc.

Does anyone on here happen to have a vpn app for their iPhone? I was thinking if I did I could change my location to Germany and see if I can download the app. As was mentioned above, I get a “not available in your country” pop-up. Just a thought.
